Hi! I am Amirhossein (Miros)1 Zohrehvand, an Assistant Professor at Leiden University. My research revolves around the application of AI to management. I investigate how AI-enabled communication tools, especially social media and Gen-AI (generative AI) agents, alter the communication patterns and narratives within which firms and strategic decision makers operate, leading to behavioral change. I combine observational and experimental designs, leveraging advanced AI tools to study these questions.

I earned a Ph.D. in Strategy from University College London (UCL) (2014–2020), an MBA2 in Strategy and Entrepreneurship from Sharif University of Technology (2011–2014), and a B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering3 from Sharif University of Technology (2006–2011).

1 Miros is pronounced /miːroʊs/ (mee-ROHS). Amirhossein > Miroshossein > Mirhos > Miros; it emerged in 2009 and stayed with me.

2 I ranked 12th nationwide in the Master's Entrance Exam (Executive Management/MBA track).

3 I ranked 250th nationwide (national rank and 165th in Region 1 - standard regional classification) in the national undergraduate entrance exam (Maths/Technical group), among more than 340,000 candidates (2006).
